Safa Association; is a voluntary organization based in Chad, Africa, established to help people in difficult situations, regardless of religion, language or race, with their education and humanitarian activities; and to raise awareness for people living in prosperous and happy geographies.
Safa Association operates to develop social responsibility awareness, cooperation and solidarity awareness, to increase the socio-economic level of society, and to contribute to the protection and promotion of our historical and cultural values.
It reaches out to all people in need of help, whether domestically or abroad, in ordinary and extraordinary times, due to war, earthquake, flood, fire and other reasons. It provides them with all kinds of material and spiritual aid, such as food, clothing, detergent, fuel, rent, shelter, health, education, business establishment, and in-kind and cash, as required by the situation and conditions and to the extent possible.
The aid and services provided by the association within the scope of its activities are open to the benefit of everyone and are not limited to a specific region or group. For this reason, in terms of the aid and services aimed, it runs to help everyone without any discrimination such as color, language, religion, race, sect, political or philosophical view, class, gender, region, country and the like.
Safa Association, which does not engage in politics in any way; protects the poor, needy, orphans, widows, orphans, street children, people of all ages who are left on the streets, patients, those who are separated from their homes, refugees, and those who are stranded in the country and abroad. It opens, helps to open or contributes to the operation of already opened nursing homes, shelters, shelters, rehabilitation centers for street children and the disabled, soup kitchens, slaughterhouses, crèches, guesthouses, places of worship, cultural centers in the country and abroad that will contribute to the realization of this aid. It establishes and operates tent cities, logistics centers, social stores and other facilities and provides assistance to such institutions.
It prepares and implements projects, especially in Turkey and abroad, to reduce poverty, reduce child mortality, and improve maternal health. It cooperates with organizations working towards these goals. It conducts studies to identify the truly poor and forms a unit for this purpose. It draws the poverty map of the country based on neighborhoods and determines the individuals, organizations, and sibling families that will help the poor.
It determines and provides assistance to those who have become needy due to illness, old age, etc. among the individuals who have contributed to the promotion of our country and culture in humanitarian aid, education, culture, etc. in Turkey and abroad. Thus, it provides food, rent, shelter, housing, fuel, clothing, cleaning materials, business establishment, and household goods assistance to those in need without their application, organizes organizations on these issues, and participates in the organizations organized. It helps other associations with the same purpose.
To provide all kinds of material and moral assistance in kind, in cash, to those in need in times of disaster, war and extraordinary events in our country and other countries, such as food, clothing, health, education, fuel, rent, shelter, marriage, starting a family, starting a business, housing and all other matters. To carry out studies that will support all kinds of activities that will benefit the society.
It organizes the development of the “sister family” practice by introducing and integrating the poor with those who help them. It organizes circumcision ceremonies for poor children. It ensures that the funerals of the destitute and the needy are held. It covers the marriage expenses of the poor and organizes their weddings. The association organizes mutual promotion and cultural tours in the country and abroad. It organizes events such as festivals, seminars, conferences, bazaars and exhibitions, auctions, sports competitions, picnics, etc. It supports the survival of local and foreign cultures.
It opens, operates or transfers the right to operate language schools in the country and abroad to the extent permitted by the relevant legislation. It cooperates with institutions and intermediary institutions that provide language education. It creates and works with common platforms. It implements a student exchange program.
It cooperates with institutions that provide education activities for children, the physically and mentally disabled in the country and abroad; It provides scholarships to students who study, stay or receive education in schools, dormitories, courses, reading halls, rehabilitation centers, etc.; It provides food, clothing, vehicles, equipment, and all kinds of material and moral assistance. It constructs buildings for this purpose within the possibilities, operates them or transfers the right to operate them.
It provides material and moral assistance and scholarships to students at all levels of education and to those pursuing an academic career, both domestically and abroad, without any discrimination based on language, religion, race, etc.
It carries out activities to educate the public in the context of the causes and prevention of poverty. In this sense, it carries out studies that will contribute to the self-sufficiency of individuals and families in establishing businesses, and opens vocational training and qualified personnel training courses domestically and abroad.
It ensures that its members, employees and volunteers of the association receive training domestically and abroad in order to develop their knowledge and skills related to the work they do, and provides them with foreign language training when necessary.
